He also said the Rivers State chapter of APC would be rebuilt and repositioned.

Ganduje said this in Abuja when the 2023 governorship candidate of Action Alliance,AA, Dr. Dawari Ibietela George, officialy returned to the party.

At the core of their conversation was the rebuilding and strengthening of the party as a platform to serve the people of the state and Nigeria in general.

The leaders also agreed to make the party accommodate broad interests and dispense substantial justice.

Describing George as a “big fish”, Ganduje described him as a skilled politician who will be key in helping the APC take over Rivers State. “Rivers State wil be completely APC,” Ganduje said of his expectations from George.

Welcoming him back to the APC, Ganduje assured that a party structure will be set up in Rivers State to create a platform for him and other members returning back to party to secure the state from the opposition. “You are now equal members with other members of the party. We are bent on widening Democracy in the country,” Ganduje added.

Those in attendance at the APC National Headquaters were members of the National working committee of the Party, including Chief Hon Victor Giadom, Vice Chairman South-South, Hon Titsi Ganama, 2023 APC Deputy Governorship Candidate Adamawa State, and former colleagues of Dr. George in the House of Representatives amongst whom were Hon Bimbo Daramola, Hon Bello Ibrahim, Hon Nadu Karibo, Hon Robinson Uwak, and the Action Alliance Deputy Governorship Candidate in Rivers State Barr. Tonnie Anierohwom who was also received into the APC. Several other party leaders from Rivers State gathered to welcome Dr. George back to the APC.

Earlier, George paid a thank-you visit to the National Chairman of the Action Alliance (AA), Chief Ken Udeze.

George used the opportunity to intimate his host of his decision to return to the APC ( Vanguard )
