Former President John Mahama, the opposition party’s candidate, National Democratic Congress,
defeated the vice president and presidential candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Speaking to journalists at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday, Bwala said the experience in Ghana won’t have a place in Nigeria in 2027.
He stated this when journalists sought for his opinion on the possibility of the ruling APC walking some miles in New Patriotic Party of Ghana’s shoes.
Responding: “That cannot happen here because Nigerians have seen the progress being made under President Tinubu’s leadership.”
He equally said, “The president’s agenda, which is yielding positive results, will naturally endear Nigerians to vote for him again. He is constitutionally more than qualified to contest for a second term.
“And, God willing, if he has the life and health, we hope he will pursue his mandate as provided by the Constitution.”
