A customs officer Abdulahi Abdulwahab Magaji serving in Abuja, was said to have allegedly shot himself with a pump action rifle in his house at Farm Centre, Binta Street Kano. As at press time, no one can confirm the cause of his death as police commence further investigation to ascertain the real cause of the tragedy.
The Customs National Public Relation Officer, Chief Superintendent of Custom Maiwada Abubakar said the cause of his death was uncertain until the final investigation wpuld be concluded.
His corpse was released to the family for burial according to Islamic rites.
