Adamawa Youths, Women Lead Protest In Support Of Tinubu’s Policies

A group of pro-government protesters made up of youth, women and people leaving with disabilities over the weekend stormed Adamawa streets in solidarity march with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, calling on Nigerians to support the president’s policies aimed at repositioning the country for the better.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Speaking at the popular Police Roundabout, venue of the event in Yola, the spokesman of the group, Abalis Paul, commended the people of Adamawa state for listening to the voice of reason and exhibiting patriotism after conducting themselves peacefully as against anarchy witnessed in some states of the federation.

Mr Abalis commended President Tinubu for his people-oriented policies, which he believed would take Nigeria to the Promised Land and urged Nigerians to be patient and give the president more time to address the challenges bedevilling the country.

He explained that, although the policies of the president were working for Nigeria and impacting on the lives of the citizens, there was the need for the government to do more in tackling hunger, poverty among other challenges.

Abalis further called on President Tinubu to set up a committee of eminent Nigerians who are in touch with the people at the grassroots to address some of the genuine concerns raised by the protesters in order to nip them in the bud.

Also corroborating Adams Paulo, one of the leaders of the group said that they are out to advocate for peace in Adamawa and protect the state from being plunged into chaos by agents of darkness who did not wish the state and Nigeria well.
