In a video that was posted on the official Instagram page of WithChude during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, he disclosed that an Uber driver ran away with the 400,000 naira that was sent to him by Davido to join him in Dubai.
In his statement, he said, “Davido told me that I should come to Dubai, but at that time I did not even have an international passport to travel.
“He called someone to help me with the international passport, and it was ready on the next day, and he asked me to send my account number so that he could send me some money, but I didn’t have any account numbers at that time and I sent him a Uber driver account number.
“An Uber driver ran away with the 400,000 naira that was sent to me by Davido to join him in Dubai.
“I later went to his office, and I was told that he had been sacked and that he was no longer working for them.
“I told Davido about it, and he asked me to send him an account number that I have access to, so he sent me another 400,000 naira.”
