Madrid’s qualification means Ancelotti is the first coach in UEFA Champions League history to reach six finals.
He led AC Milan to three finals in 2003, 2005 and 2007.
The Italian champions won the competition in 2003 and 2007 and lost 2005.
In 2014 and 2022 he guided Madrid to the final which they emerged champions on both occasions.
