The Veteran Yoruba actor Asa Koko had sadly passed away and his junior colleague, Kunle Afod, broke the news on Instagram, sharing a video from his last visit to Asa Koko’s home.
In the emotional footage, the late actor recounted his two-year struggle with an undisclosed ailment, revealing that even the state governor had visited him during his hospital stay.
Asa Koko, who was known for his contributions to Yoruba cinema and his large family—having married ten wives—showed Afod his swollen leg, expressing gratitude to God for sustaining him through his illness.
Kunle Afod confirmed the actor’s passing in his post, offering prayers for his soul to rest in peace.
