“The leadership of Yoruba Youth leaders do not want a repeat of the ENDSARS saga.” He noted.
In a similar development, Students in Lagos under the aegis of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Lagos State chapter and other students’ bodies have dissociated themselves from any form of protest that may disturb the peace and stability of the state and nation at large.
Addressing a press conference in Lagos yesterdays, the chairman, NANS, Lagos State chapter, Comrade Alimi Lekan Idris, said given the current difficult situation, the students’ body recognises the importance of peace, stability and constructive dialogue in achieving their collective goal, hence the need to eschew violence.
Allnews.ng had yesterday reported that a coalition of about 200 youth groups across the middle-belt region of the country have also revealed plan to shun the protest.
