In a statement issued by the Secretary of the APC Transition Committee, Barr. Patrick Ikhariale, the committee underscored that they officially reached out to the outgoing government on October 18, requesting a comprehensive list of documents vital for the transition process. – All Assets and Liabilities of the Edo State government.
– A detailed report on all Federation Account Allocation Committee and Internally Generated Revenue from 2020 to date.
– Information regarding maturing legal obligations and the total indebtedness (local and foreign) from 2020 to date.
– A complete list of all approved contracts by the state government from 2020 onwards.
Despite the absence of these documents, Barr. Ikhariale assured the public that the committee is diligently working to fulfill its responsibilities.
