Notably among them were the former Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, (Garkuwan Sokoto), former Deputy Governor Alhaji Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo and former Deputy Governor, Barrister Mukhar Shehu Shagari.
Also there were the Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Barrister Bello Muhammad Goronyo, former Chief of Army Staff, Lt.- Gen. Farouk Yahaya Sifawa (rtd), GOC, 8 Div. Sokoto, Gen. Mutkut and Heads of various security agencies working in the state, which include, Police, DSS, and NSCDC.
Others included the District Heads of Tsamiya, Bodinga, Bunkari, Kilgori, Gatawa, and the managements of some tertiary institutions such as Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic Sokoto headed by the Rector, Dr. Aliyu Balarabe.
The rest were the Provost of Shehu Shagari College of Education Sokoto, Dr. Umar Yabo, Rector, College of Legal Studies, Wamakko, and the management staff of the Orthopedic Hospital Wamakko led by its Chief Medical Director, Dr. Abdulkadir.
Similarly, the Chairman, Pilgrim Welfare Agency, Alhaji Aliyu Musa, alongside his management staff, leadership of Sokoto Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) led by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Mahmud Ahmad, management and staff of the Sokoto State Media Corporation chaired by the Managing Director, Alhaji Labaran Lumo Dundaye and the forum of the Special Advisers to Sokoto State Governor led by the Special Adviser on Sokoto Urban and Regional Planning Board, Alhaji Sanusi Tukur Faru.
They all condoled with the governor and Sen.Wamakko over the irreparable loss of the late Ubandoman Lokobi, Alhaji Liman Tambari.
In their separate condolence mesages, former Governor Bafarawa and former COAS, Gen. Farouk Yahaya described the death of Liman Tambari as an inevitable will of the Almighty Allah.
While condoling the family, they also prayed to Allah the Almighty to forgive all the sins of the deceased and reward him with Jannatul Firdausi.
Bashar Abubakar also said they described the late Ubandoma as humble, charismatic, and pious, calling on Sen. Wamakko and the members of the deceased’s family to take heart over his demise.
Responding on behalf of Sen. Wamakko, Gov Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, thanked all those who came for the condolence and prayed Allah to reward them abundantly.
In the same vein, many sympathizers have continued to condole the family of the late Liman Tambari Wamakko as they offered special prayers for the repose of the departed soul.
The late Liman Tambari Wamakko died on Sunday evening following a brief illness at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital Sokoto.
