There is a lot of talent in this Chelsea squad. Cole Palmer is the first name that comes to mind, then there are the likes of Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez and captain Reece James. He scored arguably the goal of the season in his side’s final Premier League game against Bournemouth, catching Neto off his line from the centre of the pitch.

Palmer has been named in England’s preliminary squad for Euro 2024 and you would expect him to make the final cut given the season he has had.
The actual debate to be had is whether the 22-year-old should be in Gareth Southgate’s starting XI.
Southgate has Bukayo Saka for the right flank, where Palmer has mostly played this season, but whether it is there or someone else, you have to find a way to get him into the team.
Thirty three goal contributions in as many Premier League appearances for Chelsea is simply ridiculous. Based on that, Palmer deserves to start at Euro 2024.
