reported that Dr. Orabueze, a former Chief of Staff to Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed Prime Minister of Biafra Government In Exile, toppled his principal barely a month after he was thrown into prison for terror-related activities by the Finnish Government.
Ekpa was taken into custody in November along side four others, suspected to be his financiers.
A Finnish court has scheduled the trial of Simon Ekpa for May 2025, where he will face charges linked to alleged terrorism-related activities.
Ekpa has been a polarizing figure internationally due to his controversial activities and rhetoric.
His arrest has drawn attention to Finland’s stance on individuals allegedly using its territory to coordinate or fund actions with global implications.
As investigations continue, Finnish authorities have reiterated their commitment to ensuring that all actions align with the country’s strict anti-terrorism laws while respecting the rights of those involved.
