General Innocent Orji, the commander of Biafra National Guard (BNG) has vowed never to lay down his arms even if Nigerian authorities should invite him for negotiation. Though, this is coming after inside sources told this paper that efforts are being made to bring all the pro-Biafra groups together for a round table talk with the Nigerian government.
When asked by NewsBand if Biafra National Guard will accept to participate in a round table discussion with the authorities for a lasting peace in the Southeast region, General Innocent Orji said no.
According to Orji, he will never accept any form of negotiation that it’s result will warrant him to surrender his arms for monetary gains.
He said, “If being invited by the Southeast leaders for a round table discussion, I will not accept.
Also, when asked if he can surrender his arms for compensation, Orji said, “Absolutely No… I won’t.
“Yes… Biafran freedom is non negotiable
“So no amount of offer can quench the struggle because Biafra is a spirit”.
