The Allied Conservative Congress (ACC) has thrown its presidential ticket open ahead of the 2027 general election. ACC said its ticket is open to qualified, credible, visionary, purposeful and patriotic citizens from the six geopolitical zones.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The ACC national chairman, Rev. Olusegun Peters, said only the primary will determine the flag bearer as there will be no zoning of the presidential ticket.
Peters made this known in a statement made available to Legit.ng on Friday, August 9.
He said Nigerians need competent, reliable, trustworthy, resourceful and experienced leaders to pilot the affairs of the nation.
“ACC assures fellow compatriots that it will field credible candidates in 2027. It is time to save our beloved nation from imminent collapse. It is a task that must be done in the quest for sustainable development and democracy in Nigeria.”
Peters called on President Bola Tinubu to subsidise the cost of foodstuffs and provide palliatives and social amenities that will improve people’s standards of living and boost economic growth.
Lehit recalls that a WhatsApp group was created for the 20227 presidential ambition of Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde.
The group – Seyi Makinde For President 2027, said the PDP governor is the ideal candidate because he has a people-oriented” approach to governance and leadership style.
Several prominent individuals including a member of the House of Representatives and aides of the governor are members of the group.
2027 presidency: Bauchi governor sends message to Tinubu
Meanwhile, Legit reported that Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed called on President Tinubu to change its policies because they are not working.
Mohammed said if the hardship continues, he will invite Tinubu to be the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign director in 2027.
The chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum said the opposition party will win the 2027 presidential election because it would be a self-inflicted injury on the All Progressives Congress (APC)
