The Permanent Secretary, Local Government Staff Pension Bureau, Mr Ibrahim Akibu made this known in a statement in Osogbo.
According to him, the approval was given on July 10th, 2024, as beneficiaries are already signing the document for the immediate payment at the Bureau.
“His Excellency, Governor Adeleke, in fulfilling his promise to the Senior citizens in Osun decided to give the new approval for the local government retirees (old pension scheme) Part of the statement reads, “Mr Governor has graciously approved another sum of N103,337,718:34 for the local government retirees.”
“This is no doubt a fulfilment of Mr Governor’s promise to our Senior citizens who have been abandoned for a very long time. Many thanks to His Excellency.”
