Yahaya, the immediate past National Vice president secured a total of 437 votes to beat two other contestants, Mr Bamidele Atunbi, the immediate national treasurer, who polled 97 votes and Muhammad Garba, zonal trustee of NUJ, who polled 39 valid votes in the just concluded 8th Triennial National delegates’ conference held in Owerri Imo state.
