American rapper Abdul Vicks also known as “Ybcdul” and the alleged leader of a violent gang in West Philadelphia, was fatally shot on Friday in the city’s Olney section. Despite being rushed to Einstein Medical Center, he was pronounced dead at 3:55 pm. Vicks was reportedly the leader of the Young Bag Chasers (YBC) gang, from which his stage name was derived.
His death has sparked concerns and further investigation, but no arrests have been made as of yet.

Additionally, Quamere Hall, another rapper known as “Mere Pablo” and suspected to be associated with Vicks, was arrested earlier this month in connection with a fatal shooting last year. Vanguard
