Despite interest from Man Utd, Chelsea and Brighton, the best decision that McKenna can make is to stay at Ipswich.

Particularly in the case of United and Chelsea, these are jobs that are often described as ‘too good to turn down.’

Even if it does not make sense, managers (and players) are implored to join huge clubs in case the opportunity never arises again.

However, Burnley’s Vincent Kompany is proof that this will not be the case for McKenna, even if he struggles at Ipswich next season.
