The Managing Director of BUA Cement PLC, Engr. Yusuf Binji, said the company has also donated about 150 tonnes of cement to the communities and 4,200 pairs of school uniforms to pupils in five primary schools.

The beneficiary communities include Illela, Gidan Bazamfare, Gidan Maituta, Gidan Gamba, Gidan Baduwa, and the Almajiri School in Kalambina.

He described their relationship with the communities as mutually beneficial, adding that the company will remain dedicated to giving back to society.

Applauding the gesture, Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto reiterated his administration’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment that will encourage investment and economic growth in the state.
