The first chairman of the Conference of Nigeria Elected Governors died on April 11, after an illness.
He was 73.
A statement yesterday in Abuja by the committee for the burial of the former National Chairman of the defunct All Nigerian People’s Party (ANPP), signed by former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim and former Transportation Minister Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, showed that the five-day event will hold in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, Abia, and Ebonyi states. The burial committee said a night of tributes will hold on November 4 at the Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja by 5 p.m, while a Requiem Mass will hold at the Church of Assumption in Asokoro, Abuja on November 5.
