Ola Fabiyi, a senior student at Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), met a tragic end on his birthday. He was reportedly pulled from his exam hall, stabbed repeatedly, and shot dead by suspected members of a cult. In a widely circulated video on x.com, footage emerged of Fabiyi being forcibly removed from an event venue. An online blog, Naija Confra gave more insight into the incident,
“Naija Confra continues to monitor the situation at Tai Solarin University (TASUED) in Ijebu Ode, Ogun state.
Currently, we know that the victim, identified as Ola Fabiyi or Senator Fabiyi, was a senator in the school’s Student Union Government (SUG).
He was dragged out of his class by his attackers in the presence of people, before being stabbed and later taken away where he was eliminated. Fabiyi was a 400-level student and today is his birthday.”
