The protesters resumed their demonstration today in Port Harcourt, from their usual pleasure park and gathered at the federal government secretariat.

On his part, the National Coordinator of the Save Our Rights Council, Arochukwu Paul Ogbonna said they will continue protesting till their demands are met.
He also spoke on why the protesters converged at Pleasure Park and moved to the Federal Secretariat.
“Thd essence of moving is to create awareness and to mobilise Nigerians. Our moving around so that journalists will get diverse views to report the protest,” he said.
However, one of the protesters warned the protesters against looting and resorting to violence.
He announced: “Anybody that steals, we will hold you and hand you to the police. This is not the first time, we have already caught three people before. Anybody that loots people’s shop, snatches a phone, we will catch you and give you to the Police.”
