According to Adeyanju, “SOWORE was detained by the Nigerian government, which he describes as jobless and lawless, for calling for a protest against bad governance.”
Saharareporters also reported: “NewsFlash: DSS Detains Sowore Upon Arrival in Nigeria Following Order by New DSS Chief.”
Sowore had previously disclosed that Nigerian security forces were trying to locate him in his hometown in Ondo State. He alleged that the security agencies were plotting to falsely accuse him of various offenses.
He shared this information via his verified Facebook page on Saturday, stating, “They are trying to track me down in my hometown, aiming to frame me with false charges. But Babylon must fall! #FearlessInOctober.”
