BREAKING: Ex-Anambra NLC Chairman Faults Payment Of N100,000.00 Minimum Wage

Former Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) in Anambra state Comrade Charles Onyeagba has expressed fears that most state governments in the country may not pay the N100,000.00 minimum wage agreed by the Federal government. Onyeagba however lamented that the cost of governance has made it difficult for the government’ to meet the demands of the workers contending that certain unnecessary bills and experiences should be reconsidered. “When you look at the cost of governance you will agree with me that it is on the high side ”

“Look at the budget for the National Assembly and the budget for the respective state governors you will discover that should the budget be cut down government’ can even pay up to N300,000.00 as a minimum wage but they would not do that “
