Galadima who criticized the mindset of those appointed to key positions while speaking on Channels Television claimed that many of President Tinubu’s appointees are more focused on personal gain than on national development.
He said, “Some of his appointees are more interested in their pockets than service delivery. Nobody is interested in developing Nigeria, only developing his pocket. You show example as a leader.”
He also pointed to India’s success story, noting how the country developed by investing in medicine and information technology.
According to him, remittances from Indians abroad were strategically managed to fuel progress in critical sectors like IT and medical sciences.
Galadima highlighted that 75% of the world’s conglomerates are now headed by Indians, a testament to their focused development.
Despite initially having high hopes for Tinubu’s administration, Galadima expressed disappointment at the government’s performance over the past year, stating that it has not lived up to expectations.
The remarks come as President Tinubu’s administration faces increasing scrutiny over its leadership approach and ability to tackle pressing national challenges.
