Kwankwaso, who was the party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections and finished in fourth place, made this statement during the inauguration of the NNPP Secretariat on IBB Way in Katsina.

Kwankwaso, who was in Katsina to offer condolences to the Yar’adua family following the death of their matriarch, Hajiya Dada, expressed confidence that the party is poised to secure the presidency, governorships, and other key positions nationwide in 2027.

He emphasized that the party is making significant strides toward success in the upcoming general election.

The Kwankwasiya leader said, “I wish to remind you that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is already dead, because we were in the party, since they had gone out of the line, we decided to check it out.”

Rabiu Kwankwaso urged Nigerians, particularly women and youth, not to be swayed by superficial temptations or financial incentives during the upcoming elections.

He emphasized the importance of remaining vigilant against such attempts to mislead voters.

Kwankwaso also called on the party’s leaders to intensify their efforts to ensure the party’s success both in the state and nationwide.

He praised them and other state stakeholders for their work in renovating the state secretariat, viewing it as a step towards preparing for electoral victory.

In addition, Kwankwaso pledged support for Abubakar Ibrahim, a young boy from the Yammawa area of the state suffering from severe acute malnutrition.

NNPP state chairman Armaya’u Abdulkadir also spoke, highlighting the party’s efforts to educate the electorate about its new logo.

He explained that the logo represents a commitment to education for all, a key focus of Kwankwasiyya’s agenda.

He said, “There is the need for the party to embark on grassroots sensitisation to inform the members on the importance of the new logo.”
