At Polling Unit 11, Ward 06, located in Oredo Local Government Area, Ighodalo secured 41 votes, leaving Akpata with 32 votes.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Monday Okpebholo, secured 19 votes, which place him in third position in the polling unit.
In Polling Unit 05, Ward 02 located at GRA/Etete, also in Oredo LGA, Ighodalo widened his lead with 58 votes.
Okpebholo of the APC followed with 15 votes, while Akpata received 12 votes.
Similarly, in Ward 3, Polling Unit 21, Etsako West, where the PDP’s Ighodalo maintained his advantage with 30 votes, Okpebholo closely followed with 28 votes, while Akpata managed to secure 11, leaving the the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) candidate with just one vote in the unit.
