In a statement issued by the organizer, Comrade Muhammed Ishaq, the protest, titled “Days of Rage,” aims to hold those in power accountable and urge concrete actions to address the nation’s pressing issues.
The group criticized past administrations for wasting public funds on trivial projects, neglecting essential services, and fostering a culture of waste, corruption, and nepotism.
Despite efforts by some to discourage participation, CNN remains committed to leading the movement for change, stressing that the protest is intended to be peaceful and not a call for violence or disorder. The group calls on all Nigerians who aspire for positive change to join the historic march on August 1st, promising to ensure their voices are heard.
