He has been held incommunicado at the IGP’s Intelligence Response Team (IRT) office in Abuja.
Amnesty International has condemned Lenin’s detention, calling for his immediate and unconditional release.
The organization stated that his detention is a violation of his fundamental human rights and that he is being punished for participating in the #EndBadGovernance protests.
Revolutionary activist Francis Nwapa has also criticized Nigerian security agencies for detaining Lenin while allowing bandits to openly display their ransoms and victims on social media without hindrance.
The Take-It-Back movement has called on Nigerians to show solidarity by attending the court sitting on Monday at 9am.
Lenin was a key leader of the #EndBadGovernance protests in Abuja, which demanded an end to bad governance and called for accountability from the government.
