Bagudu said that the president is fully aware of the ongoing situation and is responding responsibly.
Speaking on Channels Television’s special programme, “The August Protest — #EndBadGovernance,” Bagudu noted that he too is actively monitoring the developments to provide informed input to the government.
“Mr President has been monitoring the situation, as he ought to. Very responsibly, and alert.
“I am a minister. I also have responsibilities. I have also been monitoring this thing. I have been noting this thing so that I can make inputs.”
“We have been monitoring and listening carefully to hear what is being said and what noting them.”
Bagudu admitted that indeed there is widespread hardship but noted that the cost of living crisis is a global issue.
He assured that the Federal Government is making efforts to alleviate the situation and values the feedback from Nigerians.
