The First Lady, who touched down in Kwara on Tuesday in a three-day working visit, has commissioned several legacy projects built by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, including two flyovers named in honour of Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Kolapo Sulu-Gambari and the late General Tunde Idiagbon.
Senator Tinubu has also been taken on a tour to a few of the other legacy projects of Governor AbdulRazaq, such as the Innovation Hub, Garment Factory and the Sugar Factory Film Studio, where she donated the money.
Speaking at the film studio, the First Lady said Kwara State is prepared to cause upset in the country’s creative industry.
Meanwhile, she has been commended by the state government and well-meaning Kwarans for donating the money to produce a movie emphasising and projecting the culture and tradition of Kwara to the world.
Observers also say Senator Oluremi’s gesture underscores her commitment to the development of Kwara State.
The Senior Special Assistant, New Media to Kwara State Governor, Olayinka Fafoluyi stated these in a statement.
