The residents of the state, mainly youths, trooped out in their thousands on Sunday to register their support for the administration of President Tinubu.
The rally was organized to express the people’s satisfaction and display gratitude toward some of the decisions taken by President Tinubu-led Federal Government of Nigeria.
Among the decisions taken by the Federal Government which was said to have triggered the solidarity rally was the recent autonomy granted to all the 774 local government areas in the country by a judgment delivered by the Supreme Court of Nigeria in a case instituted by Tinubu’s Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the federation, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN).
Also, the people of the state revealed that their age-long demand from the Federal Government of Nigeria has been met by President Tinubu’s decision to establish the Ministry of Livestock Development.
Yobe people also cited the recent establishment of the Northwest Development Commission as another glorious decision taken by President Tinubu-led administration that necessity their solidarity rally for his administration.
The solidarity rally came amidst tension surrounding a planned nationwide protest which was being triggered by economic challenges facing the country as a result 9f the various economic reform policies of President Tinubu.
