The APC guber candidate also promised to equip the Marine Police Division that guides the riverine communities with modern facilities if elected governorship of the state.
Okpebholo made the promises at Ologbo, while on a ward-to-ward campaign tour of the Ikpoba Okha local government area of the State.
Senator Okpebholo appealed to the people of Ologbo to vote for the APC in the September 21st governorship election, just as he pledged to fulfill all his campaign promises if given the mandate to run the affairs of the state as a number one citizen.
According to him, “Your community is a border town, I will provide the required amenities so that you people will be comfortable and be able to carry out your business in a peaceful environment.
” I heard they have taken you people’s land, I will return the land to you immediately I am sworn in as the governor of Edo State, and will ensure the roads in the community are tared to make it accessible without difficulty.”
“I will make sure I tar the roads immediately I resume office as the governor of the State and I know full well that Ologbo community is a fishing community and I will make sure we provide soft loans and fishing equipment to enable the people to carry out their business.
In agriculture, mechanized farming will be provided as the men and the women will be given soft loan to assist them in carrying out their farming activities.
“We will employ 500 teachers within my 100 days in office to teach In our schools as well provide pipe borne water so that the people can have access to clean water.
On his part, the Minister for Niger Delta Affairs, Abubakar Momoh told the people not to believe what the opposition party is rumoring around that APC as a party is engulfed in crisis in Abuja, adding that there is nothing like that, they just want to use it to distract you, people.
Meanwhile, the campaign team had a stopover at the Palace of the Enogie of Ologbo, His Royal Highness, Prince Owenvbiugie Jason Akenzua where the Governorship Candidate, Monday Okpebholo sought his Royal blessings.
At Uteh, also in Ikpoba Okha local government area, Okpebholo assured the people that he will make sure the major road that passes through the community is given priority so that the people of Uteh can access their community without difficulty.

Also speaking, former governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, who also spoke in Hausa language told the people that Monday Okpebholo is a Senator and assured them that the candidate will never disappoint them. ” I stand here today to assure you all that Okpebholo will deliver Edo people from PDP’s harsh policies. I appeal to you people to come out en-masse and vote APC on September 21″, he declared.
