In a post on his Instagram page, Fayose, the younger brother of former Governor Ayo Fayose, claims it will cost the ruling party over 20 billion naira to sway voters to cast their ballots for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Fayose has been a huge critic of the current administration and has, over the past few weeks, brought to the forefront the plights of residents in the state.
Governor Abiodun Oyebanji, on the contrary, will hope he has served the people well to deserve another term in office.
“Ekiti PDP needs peace, unity, and 20 billion naira to buy 350K votes at 20K per vote to win the Ekiti election. My state is the headquarters of vote sellers and buyers. Check your account balance first before campaigning,” Fayose wrote in the post.
