Thousands of protesters have blocked Keffi-Abuja highway preventing motorists from travelling into Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Keffi. Some of the protesters carried placards with various inscriptions, some of them read in part: “End bad governance in Nigeria”, “Bring back fuel subsidy”, “Fix Our Economy”, among others.
Similarly, in Marraba area of Karu local Government Area of Nasarawa State, some protesters were seen on the streets protesting thereby preventing vehicular movement along the axis.
