BREAKING: Reps Adjourn Plenary To 17th September 2024

In his closing remarks, Kalu expressed gratitude on behalf of the Speaker, acknowledging the support and unity among members. He urged lawmakers to engage with their constituents during the break and remain available for any emergencies.

He said: “On behalf of the Speaker I thank all members for support and unity in the House, we hope that you spend time with your constituents, we hope to see you soon.”

Kalu, after putting the question members responded with a resounding “ayes”.

OrderPaper recalls the House on June 11 embarked on three weeks recess to allow lawmakers mark the 25 years of interrupted democracy which was and celebrated on June 12 and the 10th House one year anniversary.
