BREAKING: Security Guard Caught Red-Handed Trying To Sell Stolen Car On Abuja-Kaduna Expressway

The police in Niger State have apprehended a security guard, Henry Musa, for allegedly stealing a vehicle entrusted to his care in Anambra State. Musa was nabbed at Sabon-Wuse in Niger State. According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), SP Wasiu Abiodun, the arrest was made based on reliable information received by officers in the Sabon-Wuse division of Tafa Local Government.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Musa was arrested on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, with a Toyota Camry, bearing registration number LND 851 CJ, which is suspected to have been stolen from Anambra State.

The PRO revealed that Musa was found at Dikko along the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway in the Tafa area of Niger State with duplicate documents of the vehicle, attempting to sell it.

“The police operatives of the division quickly mobilized to the area and took the suspect into custody along with the vehicle,” Abiodun said.

During interrogation, Musa confessed that he was a security guard at a hotel in Awka and that the vehicle’s owner had entrusted him with the keys. However, he decided to take the car and was on his way to Dikko to sell it.

The suspect is currently under investigation and will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation and prosecution.
