He made this disclosure during a meeting with his local government coordinators and the 2023 Senatorial Campaign Council, led by Alhaji Usman Muhammad Kaura.
The meeting, which featured a productive discussion, aimed to reflect on Senator Abbas’ representation over the past 14 months and chart a way forward to meet the electorate’s expectations.
As Chairman of the Senate Committee on Innovation, Science, and Technology, Senator Abbas will soon embark on an inspection visit to various completed and ongoing infrastructural projects he facilitated in the senatorial zone, where he will also meet with his constituents.
Senator Abbas emphasized the need to highlight his successes and bring everyone on board, necessitating the enlarged meeting. He commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his strides and called for unity among the political class to ensure progress and peaceful development in the state.
The lawmaker pledged to work towards bringing more people-oriented projects and welcome ideas to improve his constituents’ quality of life. He thanked the 2023 campaign structure for their support and promised to continue attracting dividends of democracy through robust representation, supporting government efforts to guarantee peace, security, and welfare for all Adamawa people.
