In a statement signed by the Chief of Staff to Emir Sanusi, Mannir Sunusi Bayero, who is also the Danburam of Kano, and issued to newsmen in Kano on Monday, Senator Ningi praised the Emir as a beacon of hope and an epitome of knowledge for the Northern region.
“Emir Sanusi is a beacon of hope and an epitome of knowledge that should be a rallying point if the Northern region is serious about addressing its problems,” Ningi stated.
The senator further highlighted the Emir’s contributions to the betterment of the common man and his leadership, which is marked by wisdom and knowledge.
“All tribes and ethnic nationalities in Nigeria today are grateful to the Emir for his contributions to the upliftment of the common man and his leadership style, carried out with wisdom and knowledge,” he said.
Ningi expressed deep concern over the current state of Northern Nigeria, describing it as being in a serious quagmire that requires urgent attention.
He stressed the importance of unity among the region’s people to overcome the challenges it faces.
“This is not the time for blame games; we need everyone, regardless of tribe, religion, or political affiliation, to come together to salvage the region,” Ningi added.
He concluded by reaffirming his support for Emir Sanusi, emphasizing the importance of the Emir’s leadership in guiding the Northern region toward a brighter future.
“We have a leader in him that we will support to get it right,” Ningi added.
