Dr Emeka Mandela is an interesting personality who does not need much introduction as long as the political atmosphere of Imo State is concerned.

Over the years, he has remained consistent in human rights advocacy, and a better living conditions for the Nigerian people.

During our days at Imo State University, SUG leadership, he showed dedication in advocating for the welfare of Imo Stars.

Little wonder, he is celebrated all over Nigeria as one of the leading voices of youth emancipation.

This, and many more, I believe, triggered his appointment by our youth friendly Governor, Sen Hope Uzodimma, to head the Ministry of Youth Development and Talent Hunt under his administration.

Dr Mandela, shortly after his inauguration as Commissioner, took the bull by the horn, by hitting the ground running through effective youth engagements, in line with the 3R mantra of the present administration.

Dr Mandela since his appointment has continued to show capacity, sound leadership direction_laced with unwavering commitment to the dictates of his Ministerial portfolio.

Just like other progressive minds in the State, he understands in clear terms the job description assigned to him.

Dr Mandela as Commissioner, reports to work on time.

He does not joke with punctuality_the reason, he lives by example.

During my recent courtesy visit to his office_while we spoke on different range of issues, I saw the dexterity as he reeled out the many innovative programs of the Ministry of Youth Development and Talent Hunt, for Imo youths.

By his appointment, Gov Hope Uzodimma has shown that he truly appreciates the modest contributions of the youths in nation building.

It is therefore expected that all hands must be on deck to build the State of our collective aspirations, by supporting the 3Rmantra of the extant administration in the State, through the Ministry of Youth Development and Talent Hunt, ably manned by Dr Emeka Mandela.
