The suspects, identified as 21-year-old Okey Bright, popularly known as “B in Fine Boy,” and 22-year-old Daniel Prince, alias “Rugged Promotion,” were apprehended around 4:00 a.m. on Monday.
They were reportedly returning from the conference, which was held at an undisclosed hotel in the Lekki area of Lagos.
According to an RRS statement released on Thursday, preliminary investigations revealed that Bright, a resident of Ikoyi, is a university student who joined the confraternity in 2024.
Prince, a hairstylist, is also a university student.
“Their arrest was prompted by the suspicious movement of one of the suspects, Daniel Prince, who was carrying a cross bag.
“In Prince’s bag, the operatives discovered caps associated with the confraternity, leading to the immediate arrest of both suspects.
“The arrest reinforces the ongoing efforts of the State Command to curb cult-related activities and maintain law and order in the State,” the statement read.
The suspects have been transferred to the Commissioner of Police’s Special Squad for further investigation.
