A man who claimed to be a Mobile Police Force, Mopol, has allegedly stabbed suspected rivalry to dead over a girl friend in Kaduna state.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The ugly incident occurred on a Sunday night around 10:30pm in front of uncompleted two storey building sharing fends with Jay 11, a popular Night Club where day break at 12am (might night) every weekends.
Head security of the club located in Sabon Tasha area of Kaduna town told our correspondent in confidence that the Mopol claiming to be Musa was almost Lynched by sympathizers for stabbing his rivalry, but they managed to smuggled him to the nearest Sabon Tasha police station, about few meters away from the scene of the incident.
He however lamented that the victims who climbed commercial motorcycle and asked the bike man to take him to Sabon Tasha general hospital could not reach the facility before he gave up ghost.
Eye witness accounts said the lady in question declined invitation to hangout with the Mopol when called early in the evening of the fateful day, only for the Mopol to suddenly stumbled on her in club.
Aggrieved by her action, the Mopol reportedly excused her out of the Jay 11 premises, away from the rivalry, and in the process he started molesting and beating her.
According to eye witness including Suya and fish making business people, in an attempt to intervene on behalf of the lady, the rivalry who was angered by the action of the Mopol, was allegedly stabbed with jackknife.
The situation, according to the club security head attracted a lots of sympathizers outside to the scene of incident where some youth moved to lynched the Mopol bearing Musa, but was rescued by the club securities with support of others staffs to police station.
It was alleged the Mopol who is on posting to Abuja, FCT came in to Kaduna for weekend and asked the lady, allegedly having an issue for him for weekend outing when the crises took place.
Some eyewitnesses also said that the decease rivalry is married with children.
When contacted for more clarification, the Kaduna state police command spokesman, Asp Mansir Hassan could not respond.
Speaking to our correspondent, the accountant and supervisor of Jay 11 however confirmed the information but disclaimed that the incident did not happen in the premises of their club.
Accidentally, the club manager who also confirmed the incident said he was invited to the state CID, and interrogated by the police on the matter on Thursday September 26th 2024, where he told them the incident did not happened in their club.
Several efforts have been made and are still being made to get the family of the victim, reportedly residing at U/Boro community opposite the club, to speak on the matter.
