The decision was made after the LGA Executive Committee reviewed the report of the disciplinary committee, which investigated the alleged misconduct of Hon. Ikeagwuonu. During a meeting held on December 5, 2024, the committee’s findings were unanimously accepted, leading to Ikeagwuonu’s immediate expulsion from the PDP.
With this expulsion, Hon. Ikeagwuonu is no longer a member of the Peoples Democratic Party in Umuopia/Umukegwu Ward, Ideato North LGA.
The LGA leadership has communicated this decision to the State Chairman of the PDP, urging necessary actions be taken regarding the expulsion.
