The summit which is to be hosted by the Osun State Government, is to hold between September 10 to 14, 2024.
The summit, to be inaugurated by Vice President Shettima at the Olagunsoye Oyinlola Multipurpose Hall at Osun State University, Osogbo, is organised in partnership with Ravicom Integrated Concept Nigeria.Revd.
The State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Bunmi Jenyo, announced this during a press conference on Wednesday.
Jenyo revealed that all preparations for the summit have been finalised.
“The event aims to position Osun State as a leading industrial and commercial hub in Nigeria and West Africa.
“This year’s summit aims to enhance productivity, create employment, increase social facilities, and generate revenue for both the state and Nigeria.
“It will leverage Osun’s industrial, agricultural, mining, tourism, and ICT potentials for inclusive and sustainable GDP growth,” said Jenyo.
“The summit will showcase investment opportunities and facilitate strategic partnerships within Osun State’s industrial ecosystem.
“It will also focus on accelerating industrial investment and economic transformation, with particular emphasis on agriculture, industrial advancement, and driving economic growth in the state’s senatorial districts, he said.
