He asserted that there is no country in West Africa where you will not find a Nigerian lecturer lecturing, but we don’t see any foreigners coming to look for lecturing jobs in Nigeria. He further stated that Nigerian students are scattered all over the world, all in the name of education, and some even go to Sudan just because of education, which is a shameful thing for a country as big as Nigeria.
Speaking further in an interview with News Central TV, he said, “Our children are running around the world; some are even going to Sudan to school. There is no country in West Africa where you don’t see a Nigerian lecturer lecturing, but you don’t have any foreign lecturers coming to Nigeria because we are still in a country where a lecturer goes home with $300 a month. What will $300 do for you? When fuel alone will take almost all that money.
