According to Maina, Bomai’s 35 years of experience in the civil service, private sector, and politics make him an ideal candidate for the governorship. The youths praised Bomai’s achievements in his senatorial district, which comprises Fune, Fika, Nangere, and Potiskum local government areas.
“Bomai has facilitated numerous projects, including roads, drainage, ICT centers, and solar-powered streetlights, which have improved the lives of our people,” Maina said. “He has also empowered youths with skills and training, developed the capacity of women, and provided water and healthcare facilities.”
The youths described Bomai as a detribalized politician who has earned the respect of his constituents through his simplicity, respect for elders, and commitment to good governance.
With the incumbent Governor, Mai Mala Buni, completing his two-term tenure in 2027, the youths are determined to ensure that Bomai succeeds him. They have appealed to youths from other senatorial districts to join them in actualizing their dream of a better future for Yobe State.
