It is reported that Sibeleki, committed the offence on 11 October 11, 2023, when he had a chance of having unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl under 16 years.
Sibeleki, has been charged with Defilement of a Child under the age of 16 which is contrary to Section 138 (1) Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia as amended by the Penal Code Amendment Act Number 15 of 2005 and Act Number 2 of 2011.
Delivering judgment, Livingstone High Court Judge sitting in Mazabuka, Lombe Phiri, ordered Sibeleki to spend 35 years in prison and the sentence is effective from the day of arrest
