According to NGX Weekly report obtained by THE WHISTLER, the development follows the successful completion of the bank’s hybrid offer, which comprised a Rights Issue and a Public Offer.

The Rights Issue involved 5,232,748,964 ordinary shares offered at N36.00 per share, achieving a full subscription rate of 100 per cent.

Additionally, the Public Offer saw the subscription of 4,440,587,250 ordinary shares at N36.50 per share, surpassing expectations with a 160.47 per cent subscription rate.

With the listing of these additional shares, Zenith Bank Plc’s total issued and fully paid-up share capital has expanded from 31,396,493,786 to 41,069,830,000 ordinary shares of 50 Kobo each.

The NGX listing enhances Zenith Bank’s market presence and liquidity, offering shareholders and potential investors greater opportunities for engagement with one of Nigeria’s leading financial institutions.
