One of the chairmanship aspirants for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Kaduna State, Danjuma Bello Sarki, has vowed to stop the defection of members from the party, if elected to lead the party. Sarki, the former Youth Leader of the PDP in Kaduna State, said his aspiration was the choice of the people and party members, adding that he would not disappoint them if voted to lead the party in the state.
He spoke to journalists yesterday after meeting with the youth wing of PDP in the state as part of his campaign flag off.
Sarki said the era of PDP members defecting to the ruling party and other parties will be over if elected because according to him he will embark on uniting members and building confidence among them to work for the party holistically.
The Chairmanship Aspirant promised to lead a credible opposition that will hold the government accountable by exposing its ineptitude and showing the world where they are failing.
