Declan Rice sends message to Chelsea star Cole Palmer
Cole Palmer has been a revelation at Chelsea this season.
The 22-year-old Englishman has scored 24 goals and provided 13 assists for the Blues since he joined them from Manchester City in the summer of 2023.
He has been Chelsea’s best player by a considerable distance, and he has finally received some recognition for his brilliance on Tuesday night.
After Palmer was snubbed by the Football Writers Association, who named Phil Foden as the Footballer of the Year even though he has fewer goals and assists than the Chelsea man, the 22-year-old received some love from those at Stamford Bridge
In an event at Chelsea on Tuesday night, Palmer was named as Chelsea’s Player of the Season. To add to that, he won the Players’ Player of the Season award as well.
The attacker, as you would expect, was delighted with the awards. He took to Instagram to celebrate them
Arsenal star Declan Rice, who seems to have been impressed with Palmer this season, sent him a three-word message.
“Fully deserved bro,” he wrote.
There’s one good news for Chelsea fans about Cole Palmer
Cole Palmer became an instant fan favourite at Chelsea, and rightly so.
The Englishman hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge and he has been unbelievable this season. Without Palmer, Chelsea would most likely be in the bottom half of the table now.
Blues fans absolutely adore Palmer now, but his best is yet to come.
The good news for Chelsea fans is that their star attacker is still just 22 years old. He is nowhere near his prime yet, and we’re convinced he will become even better in the coming years.
If Chelsea can build a solid squad around Palmer, there is every chance they can become one of the best clubs in the country again.
